ABOUT TREELINE MOON
The Sea of Tranquility, the dark area in roughly the centre of the upper left quarter of the moon (original image) is not a sea but a large plain of basalt formed by volcanic eruptions. I took this shot with a Canon 60D, a 500-mm Sigma lens, and a glass of Pinot Grigio to wait for the perfect instant to push the shutter.
