The struggle for survival in a dangerous environment, dramatic life-and-death battles, fascinating reproduction techniques, and the sometimes bizarre (to us) results of highly specialized evolution that goes back to prehistoric times. This isn't a sci-fi/fantasy/adventure movie, but the daily reality in my garden. It isn't really secret, and a fine macro lens reveals the world of the tiny creatures who live there.
