TECHNIQUE
The time-consuming but rewarding process I used to accomplish this photo is called "focus-stacking." It involves taking numerous shots of both the foreground maple leaves and the background moon, then combining them to show both in focus. No camera or lens in the world can accomplish this in a single shot, nor is the human eye capable of seeing both the moon and the leaves simultaneously in such sharp focus.
